DIY Under The Sea Party | Paper Garland Backdrop
Hello, there! This is Christine from Pure Joy Events, here to share a vellum paper garland tutorial that was inspired by an Anthropologie window display - Great for an Under The Sea Party!
DIY Under The Sea Party | Paper Garland Backdrop
For this project, you'll need:
* vellum paper
* micro filament cord
* 2 inch circle paper puncher
* pin
* scissors
Instructions:
Step 1: Punch out the vellum paper using the circle paper puncher.
Step 2: Poke a hole in the center of each circle with the pin.
Step 3: Cut the micro filament cord to the desired length.
Step 4: Make a knot at the end of the cord, then thread the cord through the hole of a circle.
Step 5: Make another knot about an inch from the last knot and thread another circle. Repeat until there's about 6 inches from the top of the cord.
Step 6: To create an Under the Sea party backdrop, hang multiple garlands and simply tape designs from the Under The Sea printables from Bird's Party collection onto the cord!
Oooh, I like this!
