As part of my recent wedding story for HGTV, I got to play with spray paint and create my very own mini pedestal stands. I had found some vintage pink saucers in a flea marked, and all I needed was to spray paint some ceramic candlesticks to match. 

I have to say I was hooked - Not only was it easy to make, so pretty, but also way more inexpensive than buying individual stands. Now I have all sorts of plans for making larger DIY ceramic cake and cupcake stand - So watch this space! ;)
