Movie Night Party Ideas in Pink, Gold and Black
I set up a popcorn and champagne bar in pink, gold and black to showcase the goodies in a glam fashion fit for awards' season, but also to move away slightly from the traditional red and black styling we see often.
But, you can still find these same printable design used in this post in red and black in our shop! It's nice to have a choice, right? 😉
Movie Night Party Ideas in Pink, Gold and Black
This Movie Night party theme is ideal for celebrating a child or adult birthday at home, but I can equally see it for a baby or bridal shower, a Bachelor viewing party 💖 and of course, an Oscars viewing party too!
The color palette chosen would also make it a great girls' night in party theme! I can totally see it for a bachelorette party too!
Of course, you can tailor some of the ideas to suit your event. If you're hosting a child's birthday party, you can skip the champagne and serve pink juice or smoothies for instance.
A popcorn bar is such an easy and simple idea and you can serve candy and other goodies and treats alongside it without much effort at all!
I bought all my treats on offer, and it saved a ton of time. So, it shows how great this theme is for celebrating any last-minute event, or even if you're on a budget!
Since every party starts with a great invitation, I designed our Movie Night Party printable invites in three different colors so you c an pick and chose whichever suits your event best!

Movie Night Party Ideas in Pink, Gold and Black - The DIY Decor and Printables
The decor was super simple, and I used a cake stand and other pieces I had at home to create various levels of display upon my table.
For instance, I added a printable popcorn bar sign to the pink stand and a vase of flowers to the gold stand on the left.
The popcorn was served in a big glass jar with a lid to keep it fresh, and the popcorn toppings were served in cute golden ramekins for the glam touch. But feel free to use white ramekins or bowls too as it's neutral and matches with any color!
To serve the popcorn, nothing simpler than popcorn boxes in pink , black and gold. You can get those same ones in my shop here!
To label all the treats, I used printable buffet cards in the shape of clapperboards for our table. They look so cute and are perfectly in-keeping with our movie night theme!
DIY Balloon Garland
To start my decorations, I set up a super cute balloon garland in my chosen color scheme behind my popcorn bar table the night before.
Balloon garlands add the wow factor instantly without much effort at all! Not to mention that they can be quite inexpensive if you don't make a giant garland.
They look impressive, but are not actually difficult to make. In fact, I share how I made my balloon garland in the video with you!
Once you master how to make them, you'll want to add balloon garlands to every party you host. Trust me!
There are many way to make a balloons garland, but I shared my personal way of assembling it, so hope you find it useful!
DIY Custom Lightbox Using Printables
Another fun and easy DIY element was the customized light-box I displayed in front of the table.
I used printable cut-out designs from our Movie Party kit to decorate it and make it in-keeping with my party theme.
We have popcorn boxes, movie reels, stars, cameras and clapperboard designs.

Movie Night Party Ideas in Pink, Gold and Black - The Menu
No movie night party is complete without popcorn! So I served mine salty and provided sweet toppings for the guests to add and customize their own portions.
But, feel free to serve sweet popcorn and other salty toppings like pretzels, bacon bits, Parmesan cheese etc.
I also served pink champagne, but you can totally swap out the drinks for juice, soda or flavored milkshakes served in cute party bottles if you're hosting kids too.
In fact our printable bottle wrappers make any drinks container look so pretty and movie-ready, so give it a try! 😊

Whatever you've chosen to give out as party favors for your guests, I guarantee it will look a million dollars if you package it in cute goodie bags, adorned with gold sparkly ribbon and gold stars!
