A food board is one of my favorite ways to serve snacks, treats and even main course dinner, like in the case of this Taco board.
This Taco board is made with delicious ground beef that only takes a few minutes to make, and would be perfect to serve if you're celebrating Cinco de Mayo today, or for any meal, really!
Ground Beef Taco Recipe and Taco Board
My family loves Taco board night, so any excuse to make this dish is a good'n! 😉 But in all honesty, any meal served on a board like this feels like a party, even if it's a small party these days.
This ground beef Taco recipe is one that I come back to again and again when serving Mexican meals, since it's super quick and easy to make, and tastes so yummy!
To accompany my Taco board, I served the usual suspects like homemade guacamole and sweetcorn salsa (store-bought works too), creme fraiche (or sour cream), cheese, lime wedges and salad.
You can of course swap out the beef for ground pork, lamb or even chicken. Or if you're looking for a vegetarian alternative, ground mushrooms or Tofu would work too!
For the Taco board sides, I've shared a couple of recipes on this blog posts here, which would be the perfect accompaniment for the beef Taco board.
My initial intention was to actually use Taco shells for this board, but they'd run out of it in the stores, so I turned to crunchy Tortilla chips instead.
But if you can't get hold of Taco shells either, then soft Tortillas or even Pitta bread would make a great substitute!
