Scandinavian Inspired DIY Blush Tablescape and Decor for Fall
Even though the temps are still pretty hot where I live, Fall is officially here! Inspired by all the pretty autumnal colors around my garden and the local French countryside, I styled a blush tablescape that would be perfect for any celebration you may be hosting this season. Or simply to dress a pretty table for brunch!
Since some of us are still homeschooling or working from home, I find that adding little touches of seasonal décor and comfort, not only serve to "dress up" the space we're living in, but also helps to cheer things up a bit!
Scandinavian Inspired DIY Blush Tablescape and Decor for Fall
Fall is definitely my favorite season, and I can't wait for the air to get cooler so I can bust out my pumpkin spice recipes! 😁
But for the time being, adding little autumnal decor to my tablescapes is something I truly enjoy, helps me to wind down from the summer hustle and bustle, and makes my house feel a little more like a home!
Most of the supplies used in this blush Scandinavian tablescape came from the newest "Skandikraft" collection of the French brand Cultura.
But if you do not live in France, you can totally replicate these DIY and crafty decor projects by sourcing your own local craft store, or being creative with materials and supplies you may already have at home!
There's nothing I like more than setting a pretty table for brunch on the weekend during the Fall season, especially if I can recycle my decor!
The first DIY project I created for this tablescape was the linen place-mats. these NO-SEW place-mats were trimmed with lace ribbon for that ultimate Scandinavian inspired touch.
To add a pop of color to my table, I opted for blush and burgundy details here and there.
I also created a DIY plate charger, which I added on top of the linen place-mats. these were so fun to create and you can definitely use recycled materials in this project too!
To complete the Scandinavian inspired vibe of this table, I chose wooden plates, cutlery with wooden handles and made the cutest DIY wooden beads napkin rings with a little tassel to finish the table setting off in style!
As I like to add little treats or small favors for guests at each place-setting, a little pot of homemade jam (using fruit from my garden or the local farmers' market) seemed like the perfect addition!
For my centerpiece, nothing simpler than three little vases that I arranged in the center of the table with dried flowers that I picked from my garden.
This is such an easy, unique and inexpensive decor option to dress any table or home for the autumn season and beyond!
I'm really loving the organic look, not to mention the excellent price point (free), of these dried flowers! So much so, that I'm already planning another DIY project using dried flowers.
So check out the details of these Scandinavian inspired DIY decor crafts in quick video below, and stay tuned to see what I create with dried flowers next week! 🥰
