Happy New Year to you creative and crafty friends! 🥰✨ There's no better way to kick off the new year in my opinion, than with some good DIY projects, especially when it involves such a therapeutic craft such as pottery or working with clay.  Bonus points for doing some recycling in the process, or what I like to call, turning trash into beautiful treasure for your home! 😉

Winter is the perfect time to get cozy and pamper yo' self. So I decided to make some gorgeous pampering recipes and DIYs (with video!) that are the perfect addition to a spa day at home!  You can also use these DIYs projects to create a luscious spa pampering kit from scratch to gift to a loved one on Valentine's Day (or any other occasion).  But it's oh-so pretty that you may wanna keep it all to yourself, and I don't blame you! 😉

Paper anything is my jam. But paper flowers are my particular favorites! I mean, you take a fairly simple, banal, flat piece of paper and fashion it into something 3-D, beautiful and super practical. What's not to love?! And did I mention they're so easy to craft? Yep, despite their intricate looks, they're a cinch to make, and one of those DIYs that even the kids can help with! 

We're starting our week with a super fun and gorgeously fragrant DIY. Is there a better way?! These scented bath bombs look so pretty and are a fun crafty activity to make with girlfriends during a girls night-in or spa party  and they make a super sweet gift for teachers, or party favor for so many occasions and celebrations!

My Mother's Day Color POP tablescape was inspired by pompoms.  And I can tell you we pompom-ed the heck out of everything. And I mean, E-V-E-R-Y-T-H-I-N-G. Turns out pompoms are really versatile.  Think napkin rings, cute gift and favor packaging embellishments, headbands, jewelry...and even fridge magnets ! I LOVE the idea of decorative place-setting decor that also double-duties as a practical favor!

Remember the giant paper roses I made for this shoot ? Well, these area  smaller version of the roses but using crepe paper instead and making them into a beautiful bouquet for Mother's Day (weddings too or any other occasion you fancy!) They are so pretty, long-lasting, and easy to make, and are the perfect gift or craft for kids to get involved in (with a little supervision of course, as there are wire cutters involved!).  My daughter LOVED crafting with me on the weekend; and as a proud mom (not ashamed to say) I just couldn't help myself and took some extra shots of my precious,  pretty in pink baby ♥
